How Do I Meet People?

Union Baptist Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Union Baptist Church.

Small Group

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, we have several small bible studies for you to choose from. Our groups usually meet on Sundays at 10:00 am, prior to our morning worship. These groups are designed to encourage your interaction and input, ranging in topics from Marriage and Money, Getting Ready for Kids, Shepherding Children, to Everyday pressures of Life.

Children’s Ministry

Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Each of the teachers takes the time to interact with the children on their level to ensure they get the most out of the bible lessons they are taught. The youth ministry of Union Baptist Church is recognized for their close interaction and attention to the details of life. We take the time to discuss all of life’s scenarios that a young person may encounter, offering them the tools to make biblical and Godly decisions.

Young Adults

Life can get complicated once you cross that threshold into adulthood. There are complicated decisions to make, bigger stakes, serious relationships, and a whole lot more. The young adult group of UBC provides a welcoming atmosphere for college students, early-career young people and young married couples.

Women’s Ministry

The ladies in our church family get together multiple times a year for Bible study, prayer, outings, (and, of course, food). This provides a refreshing opportunity for the women here at Union who are mission minded and ministry driven. They lead our church in activities designed to support various ministries at home and around the world.

Men’s Group

The men of UBC are diverse in their age, and in their wisdom. They are men of integrity and humble themselves to the leadership of the Lord Jesus Christ. They hold themselves accountable to one another as they protect, encourage, and grow in better understanding their role as leaders of their homes, and the church. Our men meet regularly to pray for and encourage each other to continue this journey that God has called them to by Rejecting Passivity, Excepting Responsibility, Leading Courageously, and Investing Eternally.

Senior Saints

Once you get past that certain age, the fun has just begun. Whether retired or just plain tired, our seniors are the foundation of our church and are active as ever . The Senior Saints of Union Baptist Church provide a refreshing insight to life and how to be all that God has asked them to be. They are an encouragement to everyone, as they truly know what it means to rely on the Lord. Our Seniors love to get together and share stories, as well as the aches and pains that life seems to throw at them, and they do so with a smile on their face and laughter in their heart.
